Children

Route 66 – Children’s Ministry (Potty-Trained through Primary)
On the 1st, 2nd & 4rd Sundays we stay in church for the worship and then head to another part of the church for our Life Stage learning. Sometimes we explore the themes of the church sermon and sometimes we have our own lesson. We learn and participate by playing games, making crafts, telling stories and sharing prayers together.
On the 3rd Sunday of the month, we take a very active part in the All Age Church Service.

When there is a 5th Sunday, the children get a chance to learn being in church for a regular Church Service with their family.

*Parents please note that our Children’s Ministry team are DBS checked, however, you are ultimately responsible for your children.

Each parent is asked to volunteer with Route 66 once bi-monthly.

Toddler Group, Playgroup & Assembly

On a Tuesday morning from 9am we gather together in church for some fun – dancing/singing/playing and hearing a bible story.  This time together is with Toddler group children and parents as well as Playgroup children. About 9.45 Toddler Group runs (term time only) until 11:00am in the church hall. Here parents/carers can enjoy chatting with one another while relaxing over a coffee! Throughout the morning the children can enjoy playing, participating in craft activities and enjoy healthy snacks. There is also a sensory room which can be enjoyed by babies and toddlers alike. At 11am we gather together for a fun time of singing. All are welcome to come and join in the fun.
